In April, the Roots of Success returned to Vermont for a four day long training of Vermont Green’s newest certified instructors. Vermont Green is a diverse statewide public-private partnership preparing workers for a variety of green jobs, working in fields like energy-efficient construction and retrofitting, renewable electric power production, recycling and waste reduction, and energy efficient and advanced drive train vehicle production. This training included the first AmeriCorps members to be certified Roots of Success instructors.
