Staff representing various social service agencies in Solano County — including Solano County’s Youth and Family Services, Healthy Partnerships, Mission Solano, and the Women’s Reentry Achievement Program — participated in a Training for Trainers on Feb 6, 2012 in Fairfield, CA. In total, 15 new certified instructors were added to the growing Community of Practice in Solano County; with some agencies gearing up to begin integrating Roots of Success into their programs within the next few months. We are also very excited to announce that, for the first time, certificated staff who attended the training were eligible for Continuing Education Credits (CEUs) thanks to a partnership with Solano County and Healthy Partnerships. The CEUs recognize the value of our one-day training to the professional development of service providers, and we hope that we can continue to collaborate with Solano County to offer these credits in the future.
