Please join us next Thursday, November 18 at 1pm PDT for a webinar entitled “Preparing Youth and Adults from Frontline Communities for Good Green Jobs – The Roots of Success Environmental Literacy Apprenticeship and Pre-Apprenticeship“. This webinar will share best practices around preparing youth and adults with barriers to employment, including incarceration, for dignified, well-paid employment in the water, waste, energy, transportation, building, food/health/agriculture sectors. As the first Environmental Literacy Apprenticeship in the nation, Roots of Success is proud to present this event as part of National Apprenticeship Week.

The 7th annual National Apprenticeship Week is November 15-21 2021. NAW is a nationwide celebration where industry, labor, equity, workforce, education, and government leaders host events to showcase the successes and value of Registered Apprenticeship for re-building our economy, advancing racial and gender equity, and supporting underserved communities. NAW is an opportunity to highlight how Registered Apprenticeship, a proven and industry-driven training model, provides a critical talent pipeline that can help to address some of our nation’s pressing workforce challenges such as responding to critical supply chain demands and supporting a clean energy workforce, modernizing our cybersecurity response, addressing public health issues, and rebuilding our country’s infrastructure.
